Translate Kanji T-shirt to English2011/1/24 08:24

So I received a T-shirt from Japan as a gift, and there are kanji symbols on it that I don't recognize. I would prefer to know what it says before I wear it, so if anyone could help me out, that'd be great.

Below is a link to where I have the pic:

Thanks!

It's the well-known Japanese sake brand "Ozeki" logo, isn't it :)

The kanji flanking the "Ozeki" characters are:
Right: Musou (Strongest)
Left: Tenka (Under the heavens "on earth")

You can probably put this all together and get a general meaning of the brand

Just to add:2011/1/24 17:31

Down the middle: ‘åŠÖ Ozeki (brand name)
Down the right: –³‘o Musou (strongest, unparalleled)
Down the left: “V‰º Tenka (under the sky = on earth)

When Japanese people look at that T-shirt, they wouldn't bother to think about the meaning but just would think, "Hey, this guy's wearing the Ozeki sake logo." By the way, Ozeki is a rank of sumo wrestlers (but still, people wouldn't bother to think about that and they usually wouldn't understand the meaning of the other two).

My english is very poor and I don't have account of face book, so I can't see your picture of T-shirt.

But I read the responce on the board.
I understood your question.

‘åŠÖ is sake corporation in Japan.
I think that your T-shirt print this corporation's logo.
In the rank of sumo, Oozeki is second rank.
First rank is Yokozuna.

And “V‰º–³‘oitenka musoujis the word that is made in China. This mean is most strong all over the world.
For example "He is tenka musou"

“V‰º is "under the sky"="all over the world"
–³‘o is "nothing other"="most strong"

I'm sorry for my poor english.
I hope you will find it helpful(This sentence was searched by internet).
