- Entry Requirements
For our Advanced Vocational courses our entry requirements are a minimum of 5x GCSEs at Grade 4, Maths or English Language or Literature at Grade 4 and Grade 3 in the others.
Some courses and subjects will have additional specific entry requirements or require DBS clearance to undertake placements. Information about this can be found on the Apply Portal, and on your offer letter which you will receive after your interview.
- How will I be assessed?
The course is 80% theory and 20% practical. You will participate in the practical sessions, which may include a residential, in order to fulfil the requirements of the course.
All assessment is via coursework, either in the classroom or during activities in sports facilities or in the outdoors.
- Progression Pathway
A wide range of careers are available to you on completion of the course e.g. uniformed Public Services such as Police, Fire and Rescue, Ambulance, Prison and Armed Forces or Customs and Excise or within the private security industry.
