The Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) is for Senior Carers who work in adult care settings. This qualification is ideal for operational staff working in a variety of areas, whether you work in residential or nursing homes, domiciliary care, day centres or another clinical healthcare setting, whether you specialise in learning disability, mental health, drug and alcohol misuse, home care, dementia or end of life care.

This diploma is an excellent choice for those who already work in a variety of care settings, including service users’ homes, and it gives a solid basis for those looking to start or further their careers in the care sector. It is especially beneficial for professionals who are directly involved in the care process and have important obligations to the well-being and support of the persons in their care.

The Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) is designed to develop your knowledge in key areas such as Duty of Care, diversity and inclusion, communication, safeguarding, championing health and wellbeing, learning about mental capacity, personal wellbeing and seeking to enhance your own professional development.

You’ll be prepared to be competent in your role, providing supervision, frontline leadership, guidance, and direction for others, working autonomously, exercising judgement and accountability.
