Edit - if you get to the interview stage, rest assured that the pass rate is around 93%, essentially they won't bother to invite you to interview unless they think you'll be good enough, so once you manage that you're half way there!

This professional engineers' test is a grueling 8-hour long test. Just the time is given to complete it hints at how exhausting and extensive it is. The percentage of successful candidates can be as low as 49% or as high as 82% for first-time takers.
All nine passed the ICE's criteria to become either Chartered or Incorporated Civil Engineers. Costain's 100% success rate was well above the overall ICE pass rate, which stands at 79%.
Currently, the FE Exam pass rate ranges between 40% and 90% depending on how you are looking at the data. This data is updated as of July 2023, the latest statistics can be found on the NCEES website here. Let me put those thoughts to rest with an important caveat to all of what we are looking at here.
Whilst the pass rate of 44% is significantly lower than the 82% achieved in 2019 there are several lessons learnt that should improve future pass rates. Several candidates who failed, performed well on some questions but may have run out of time to adequately answer all questions.
