Harry Potter Earned Emma $70 Million
That's correct: Emma made a reported $70 million from this franchise—which included starring in the movies, making a ton of appearances, and having her face on endless amounts of merch. We don't know Emma's exact salary for every single Harry Potter film, but we do know she earned $4 million for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and $30 million for both Deathly Hallows movies.
This is obviously a lot of money, but $ wasn't a huge motivator for Emma when it came to negotiating her role in the Harry Potter franchise. Producer David Heyman told The Hollywood Reporter that “Emma, in particular, was quite academic and was very keen in pursuit of schooling and was wrestling a little bit more than the others. Emma took home $15 million for Beauty and the Beast, because duh, Disney pays. Interestingly, her base salary was $3 million and other $12 million came from bonuses based on how well the film did at the box office. This was actually one of Emma's most profitable eras as an actress, and in 2017 (around the time of Beauty and the Beast buzz) Forbes listed her as #6 on their list of the highest-earning women in film tied with Charlize Theron, saying she made $14 million pre-tax between June 2016 and June 2017.
She's Made a Lot for Endorsem*nts
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Emma makes about $5 to $10 million per year just from brand opps. Through the years, Emma's been the face of Burberry (she got a six figure paycheck for their 2009 campaign) and was also the face of Lancôme back in 2011. According to a source who spoke to The Sun before the reunion was officially greenlit, HBO “offered big money to the cast to reunite." How big?
