Snowie Cube Pro Ice Shaver | Snowie (2023)

Snowie is proud to announce its new upgrade to the Snowie 3000 Ice Shaver. Snowie was able to do what it does best, we stood on our own shoulders in order to reach new heights and deliver to you the most amazing cube shaved ice machine on the market. We call it the Snowie Cube Pro Ice Shaver!

This shaver is now injection molded out of a poly carbonate material that will never yellow. Because of the injection molding process, every part of this shaver is exactly the same thickness. We have been able to add multiple ribs and gussets that have dramatically increased the strength of this shaved ice machine by 10x or more.

The Snowie Cube Pro Ice Shaver Features

The Cube Pro Ice Shaver is a beautiful piece of art and has many new features.

  • First, one of the hardest things about the Snowie 3000 Ice Shaver was where to lift it. We have added multiple handles that will let you pick up this shaver in at least six different ways. Each handle is large and comfortable allowing you to get a good grip now matter what angle you are approaching the shaver.
  • Second, the feet on this shaver are far better and stronger than its predecessor.
  • Third, we have large venting areas in this housing that act like chimneys. This allows the heat to get away from your motor and travel straight up to exit the housing quickly. This is a critical feature that will greatly increase the life of your motor. If you think that is cool, stay tuned to see what else we are adding to additionally cool your motor.
  • Fourth, we have added a relay within this shaver that will reduce the amount of power that travels to the foot switch. If you have had problems with the foot switch in the past, this problem will stay in the past. The foot switch will not longer fault because it will not have enough power running through it to fail. If you would like further details on how this works, we would love to talk to you.
  • Fifth, we have gone to an all new paddle wheel that is no longer made out of aluminum. All metal tends to attract freezing ice right to its surface. The paddle wheel is now an incredibly strong plastic that will allow the ice and snow to slip easily right off its surface.
  • Sixth, we have all dealt with that large clump of ice that sits in your hopper and will not make its way down into the blade area because it is too large. We have now added a patent pending feature that will break the large clumps apart into their intended cubes sizes as your ice is spinning in the hopper thus allowing all of your ice to make its way to the blades.
  • Seventh, we have redesigned the shaver so that it will no longer plug. You may have noticed in the past there would be a rare occurrence where the shaver would get so cold that the snow would not exit the shoot. We believe we have reached a point where your shaver should now have a 0% chance of plugging when operated correctly.
  • Eighth, no more broken hinges! In the past, if you had a cube that was on top of the hopper near the hinges and you closed that lid hard without removing the cube, you could break your hinges, hopper, or both. We have now designed the lid and hopper so that when you are closing the lid, it will push your cubes into the hopper without affecting the hinges or any physical part of the shaved ice machine.

Although I appreciate that you guys designed a new product, which solves ever owner of the Snowie 3000 problem; you highlight what is wrong with the $3000 piece of gear I invested with your firm. Not cool. Now I see what to expect with my Snowie 3000. Unsure how other owners will feel. I feel like the new gear is better, and built like a tank. Just waiting for my piece of gear to heat up and fail. You should offer clients incentives to upgrade or something of the sort. Not a way for owners of your products to feel.

I understand your concern completely. When we or any other company launches a new product, we need to state the bennefits of that new product and why we built it. If you watch the video where Carl is talking about the new Cube Pro Ice Shaver, he also talks about the 3000 still being an amazing machine. We have Snowie 3000 Ice shavers out there that are 20 years old and they still run with no problem. These improvements obviosly make the Cube Pro better, but the 3000 was already amazing. You do not need to be concerned about it failing on you. He also refers to the option you have to upgrade your cabinet, housing, etc. That way you can “upgrade” to the cube pro without spending the full amount for a new shaver. Thanks again for your feedback.

Just viewed the video on the new Pro shaver. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the company in providing the ability to upgrade my snowie 3000 to the new housing and other improvements. (I have 3 x 3000 machines) You improve the best shaver on the market and keep past customers in mind. All I can say is well done. I believe you make the best equipment on the market.

I love my Snowie Cube Pro and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived in July of this year when I was expecting the previous 3000 model. I couldn’t have been happier when I opened up the box! The performance and look is wonderful. The DC model is strong and goes well with my business model. The Snowie site does not show “verified purchase” for reviews and as many know, fake ones can be left to make businesses look better. To show I’m not affiliated and that I actually purchased, you can look me up at Solar Shaved Ice, as well as see it in action! Thanks!

Easy to operate, sturdy, makes great snow. Our kids use it nearly daily now. We plan to use the Snowie 3000 for a school fundraiser. Worth every penny. Wonderful product and company. Thank you!

What is the difference between Snowie Max and Snowie 2? ›

The only difference really is that the Little Snowie 2 has a smaller hopper, and does not shave as fast as the 1000. But the quality of the shave is the same. Flower cup attachments will not work with the Little Snowie 2.

How do you shave block ice in a Snowie? ›

Simply place a 6x6x1 2 or smaller block of ice in the shaver, secure the block with the pressure flap, step on the foot pedal and begin shaving a perfect cup of snow!

Is Snowie a franchise? ›

Snowie does not sell a franchise, but rather, an optimal shaved ice business opportunity. In a franchise, you will pay a franchise fee just to get into the business, you will buy and be limited by territory, and each year you will pay royalties back to the corporate entity. You are bound to them.

How do you make shaved ice Fluffy? ›

If using a commercial machine, we recommend letting your ice temper for about 10-15 minutes before shaving. If using a home machine, like the S900A Electric Shaved Ice Machine, we recommend letting the ice thaw for approximately 5-7 minutes. Allowing your ice to temper will create a fine and fluffy snow consistency.

How many watts is a little Snowie? ›

1000-watts and 2.7 peak horse power means power, durability, and speed! Never again allow for a home ice shaver to slow you down and become more of a hassle than it's worth. The Little Snowie means BIG business!

What is the best ice for snow cones? ›

For the fluffiest shaved ice, it's best to use the two ice molds provided with your machine. You can use regular household ice, but you won't get the same fluffiness. On the other hand, with our snow cone machines, household ice cubes or bagged ice work perfectly.

How much ice do you put in a snow cone machine? ›

How much ice for one snow cone? Two cups of the pellet ice cubes from our ice machine makes 1 3/4 cups of crushed ice. The amount of ice you need will depend on the size of your cones (or cups) and how much you pack the ice. We found that 1 3/4 cups was enough to make one 6 oz snow cone.

How is fluffy ice made? ›

I am obsessed with Taiwanese snowflake shaved ice. Unlike traditional shaved ice, snowflake ice is made with water and condensed milk frozen into ice blocks, which is then shaved through a special machine. The fine texture of the ice is creamy and soft, and more like ice cream than like ice.

What is the cream on shaved ice? ›

Sweet Cream (Condensed Milk)

Shaved ice business owners quite commonly offer this as a topping. After you prepare your shaved ice, pour an ounce or two on top very carefully, as it can quickly get messy. You can make your supply of sweet cream last longer by diluting it with evaporated milk.

What is the difference between shave ice and shaved ice? ›

The difference between shaved ice and shave ice is only the name. In Hawaii, you'll most likely hear it called “Shave Ice” without the “D”. Elsewhere, it's more likely to be called shaved ice.
