The University of West London's history dates back to 1860 when the Lady Byron School was established. The school was renamed Ealing College of Higher Education and in 1992 it was granted university status. In 2010 it became the University of West London.

The closest Underground stations are South Ealing (3 minute walk) on the Piccadilly Line and Ealing Broadway (8 - 10 minute walk) on the Central and District Lines.
