Little Alchemy 2 was released in August of 2017 and, if it is like its predecessor, will see numerous content updates over time.

This list currently reflects the roughly 700 elements that can be created as of April of 2018, not including additional elements that are available in content pack supplements for the game’s mobile releases (scroll down below this main list for information about any of those expansions).

It's All About Science in Little Alchemy 2

Think about prevailing scientific theories as to how Earth formed, and that will get you started. Most of the planet is comprised of lava that cooled to form rock, and various rocks are often the result of pressure and heat. Water is also a critical factor since over time it can break down a variety of materials. If you can get some core ingredients created, you can combine them intuitively to produce all sorts of neat combinations in Little Alchemy 2.

Some Useful Aids for Little Alchemy 2

Click on an object you have created through the process of combining two items, and hold your mouse button for a moment. You'll produce a tooltip that lets you know what two items you combined to create that particular combination. The list will also show some information about combinations you've discovered that use that component and will let you know the number of undiscovered items you have yet to create using that component. You can also double-tap an item you have set in your workspace to produce a duplicate of it, without the need to scroll through your list.

Tend to the Broad Strokes First in Little Alchemy 2

One of the first combinations you should make is air with air (or earth and earth), to form pressure. Unlike in the first Little Alchemy, air plus fire now produces smoke. To make energy, you must instead combine fire and fire. Air plus pressure creates wind, and there are various other results you can work toward from there.

Amazon Primordial in Little Alchemy 2

You can really get going once you've created the primordial soup, which is comprised of a combination of earth plus ocean. To make the latter, just combine water with water, and keep duplicating and combining the results until you gradually build from a pond to the ocean. Once you have a primordial soup, try combining it with a volcano to generate life, and combine life with land to make animals... just for starters.

Two of a Kind Is Easy to Miss in Little Alchemy 2

Remember to regularly check the result if you combine two of a single item. One example occurs if you combine brick and brick, which produces a wall. Combine wall and wall to produce a house. Combine house and house to make a village. Village and village make a city. Look for similar chains elsewhere.

Experiment Freely in Little Alchemy 2

There are more than 700 available combination, and no penalty for exploring whatever notion might occur to you. Some interesting combinations result from the mixing of obvious components found in the world around you. Some results are fairly abstract. If all else fails, just try random combinations until you get something new and exciting. Before you know it, you'll open all sorts of new pathways to success.
