We couldn't ask for more. The job was handled professionally and in a timely manner. John kept us informed throughout the whole process. This was the second time we've used J & K and I highly recommend them to anyone needing roof, gutter, or fascia replacement.

I liked the way they set their appointment. They were very flexible. They were good.

This vendor was recommended to me by my insurance company. They had the estimate for the work to be completed. However, they decided that the drywall repairs were not needed and they did not do them, they only filled in a few holes and painted. They did not replace the insulation and they did not replace my lights. I assume that they did my roofing repairs but i cannot see my roof and I am not going to get up on it. The vendor expects to be paid for the full contract although they failed to do about $1000 worth of work saying that they are still owed the work because they need to make money. If they had a problem with the estimate written by my insurance company, they could speak to them about it and not make it my problem. A contractor is going to get small jobs with less profit and larger jobs with more profit. They made it seem that I was lucky to have them doing this job. That I needed them more then they needed me as a customer. Now I am stuck doing the unfinished work myself. Terrible contractor. I would not recommend using this contractor for work, especially if it involves your insurer.

I highly recommend J&K. We started working with them for an insurance claim for our roof. We have since done 4 projects fixing various issues around our home.

J&K are by far the best contractor I've worked with over the last couple of years. I purchased a 1930 home back in 2017, and it needed a lot of fixing up including a new roof. I requested four roofing bids. J&K wasn't the cheapest, but they were also not the most expensive. So why did I choose them? I was lucky enough to be connected with J&K employee, John Lee. He provides care, quality, thoroughness, honesty, responsiveness, expertise, and customer service above and beyond -- time and time again. November 2018, I had some large tree branches fall on my home and wreck my corner gutter. J&K quickly responded with a fair quote and took care of the job quickly. March 2019, as I began prepping my attic for insulation, I noticed a couple of leaks. I reached out to John Lee one Sunday evening, and he responded first thing Monday morning. He came out that week to take pictures and advised me on how to handle (chimney stack). Even though the leak was NOT an issue caused by J&K, John Lee has visited my roof and chimney a couple more times and has been by my side helping me to track down the leak issues and get them resolved. He's given me peace and mind which is so challenging to find these days when hiring contractors. So, if you need a "Roofing Guy", I gotta guy! Just call J&K Home Improvements & Restorations. Very disappointed that they are not interested in repair jobs. After reading the good reviews, I was hoping that I could hire one company to replace some shingles and repair a leaking window but I was told that they only do new installations and take care of previous customers.

Did work on time and price was as quoted. Very good group to work with.

Everything went well. Their proposal and documentation were very professional. They removed and hauled away the old siding. The workers came each day when they said they would, and finished the new vinyl siding job well. The only thing I needed to remind them about was the clean-up -of paint chips from the old siding so that there were none left on our lawn.

So they were not very helpful as far as the timing they were coming. I felt like I had to track them down. Then they put the roof on. When I went out to check the garage roof there was a bulge. I argued with the company for two weeks to come out and fix that bulge. They said it was probably structural and they could do nothing. Finally my husband had the salesman out and he pulled the shingles back and showed them the rotting wood. They were supposed to replace the rotting wood the first time. So they came out and made the repair. That was supposed to be it, but I told my insurance company that I was concerned that if there was one spot how do I know there aren't more. So after the insurance company contacted them they came out and reinspected and found 3 more spots of rot. While it's great that they came back out and are going to fix it, how many other people didn't have a visible spot (the 3 that they found weren't visible)?! And they wouldn't have come back out if it weren't for the fact that they were going to get a bad review through our insurance companies repair network. Regardless of them fixing it, and being apologetic. I cannot and will not recommend them. I

I live in a town home so we all have to match since we're attached. Joe came out, measured the areas needing to be replaced. Gave me a written estimate on what it would cost. He communicated with myself and the other 2 units in addition to working with my home owners association in coordinating colors of the roof and siding since our color was no longer available. Even worked with another contractor from the 3rd unit attached. He worked with them telling them what we all decided on, what was approved and available. Constant communication from Joe telling me of his conversations; keep me apprised on when the work would begin and showing up to make sure the work was done. Came in on what I was quoted by the Insurance company. No hidden costs. Great work done in a timely manner. Cleaned up all debris from my home.

The representative came over, assessed the damage. Stated they were a small company, family owned/ operated. After I signed up with them to complete the work there was a problem getting the rep to schedule an appointment to decide on color & type of shingles & siding. I asked specifically what the difference in aluminum and vinyl siding and was told there was essentially none-everyone was using vinyl now. When we finally met I decided on Pewter Gray for roof shingles not the darker color with a hint of green that the rep kept pushing. When workers removed some of their equipment from the site at end of job they left water bottles, garbage, wiring, all over lawn in front & back. At end of job they had put wrong color roof on, left exposed wiring, fell thru the ceiling/floor trying to hook up attic fan which they swore they had put in and hadn't (major hole in ceiling), blew out the motor in new attic fan trying to hook it up, damaged fence, downspout, outdoor furniture, frame on paintin
