Reactivating the Vault on Havarl will restore the planet's atmosphere to a habitable temperature. There are also a series of bonuses and puzzles located within.

Activating the Monoliths

Getting the monoliths online in Havarl actually takes longer than completing the Vault itself. The first monolith has already been activated, so you only have to worry about the remaining two.

When you play the Helping Havarl's Scientists mission as part of the main walkthrough, you'll end up activating the second monolith. Use the image above to help you with the remnant decryption puzzle.

The third monolith is activated after a series of tasks during the A Dying Planet side mission, located at the end of the giant chasm. Start the mission by speaking to Kiiran Dals on Havarl. From there, follow the nav points to a giant chasm. Find the steps that take you down to the bottom, then start making your way to the end of the chasm.

There you will find the entrance to Mithrava sanctuary. Follow the nav points and use the gravity wells until you reach the top. You'll meet a sage there that will ask you to find Zorai's Heirloom.

Enter the underground location marked on your map. Fight your way through enemies and reach the nav point to find the heirloom. Take the heirloom to Taavos in the Roekaar camp. After he remembers some of his past, meet hit at the entrance to the final vault. You can find it at the other end of the giant chasm.

Follow Taavos inside the monolith and allow him to open the next door. There you'll find an audio log. Wait for him to open up the next door. Use the gravity wall to reach the console that will activate the third monolith. Head to the nav point on your map to find the next vault.

Completing the Vault

Enter the vault and use the gravity wall to bring you down inside. Activate the first console to activate four new consoles surrounding the center area. This will also summon three Observers, so be ready to take them out!

Once the room is cleared of enemies, take note of each console and the number of blue orbs it sits next to. To solve the puzzle and open the door, activate each console starting with the least amount of orbs to the highest. If you're facing the locked door, activate the consoles in this order:

• Top left
• Bottom left
• Top right
• Bottom right

The door should now open to the next room which also happens to be the end of the vault. That was easy! Before you go, walk to the back of the first room and follow the small path under the lifted area. Here you'll find a barrier surrounding the bonus room with the worthwhile container. Keep this in mind!

Enter the final room and walk past the main console that will start the purification process. Instead, walk to the back to find another console that will have you test your sudoku skills with a Remnant Decryption Puzzle. Use the image above to help you if you get stuck! Complete it to get +2 Skill Points.

With that done, activate the last console and make a run for the door... only to find that it has been locked. There is nothing you can do for now, so stand your ground and fight the remnant coming your way. Once the purification smoke gets close, the door will unlock and you can run for the last console in the first room.

Before you stop the purification process, go down to the area below the console where the barrier was. Now that it's gone, grab the contents of the container and rush back to the console to stop the smoke. Before you leave, make sure that you scanned the two cores near the final console, they are worth 100 remnant research points each! With the vault back to normal, return back to the outside to see the increased viability on Havarl.
