For the wagon, you can get the naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter SkyActiv-G engine, but if you go for the sedan, you get more options. For starters, you can pick between a 2.2-liter diesel engine that produces 187 hp and 450 Nm of torque, while the gasoline motor makes 227 hp and 420 Nm of torque. If you get the wagon, that’s still a spritely 187 hp and 252 Nm of torque.
Mazda CX-30
Another one of Mazda’s compact crossovers is the Mazda CX-30. Sharing the same gorgeous styling as its stablemates the CX-30 brings with it the handling of its Mazda3 brethren along with the power that they carry. On top of that, it also shares in their features as well carrying over the 360-degree camera from the Sedan and Sportback variants. If you want a higher riding Mazda that carries the premium feel and handling of its lower to the ground counterparts then you might want to consider the CX-30.
Toyota Fortuner
An updated entry to this list is the Toyota Fortuner. Getting its latest rendition in October of 2020, the refreshed and upgraded version of the popular 7-seater diesel-powered SUV has gotten two new distinct looks. Along with the exterior makeover the Fortuner’s top variant has also gotten a few new features such as Toyota’s Safety Sense technology and of course a 360-degree camera.
